So, it’s 2:30am on Thursday night, and I can’t sleep because I’m thinking about programming.
This evening I spent a few hours reading “Ghost in the Wires” by Kevin Mitnick and then a few hours Reading “Concepts of Programming languages” by Robert W.Sebesta.
Then I read articles on Google Reader. I read a good one comparing Google’s ‘Go’ to ‘Lua’. I started learning Lua a while back to write World of Warcraft Addon scripts. Now I need to learn Go.
So, I have too many Ambitions. Here is my (for fun) Todo list :
1. Learn GO
2. Rediscover Lua
3. Rediscover Scala
4. Finish tinkering with my own language “Jazz”
5. Learn to write languages in ANTLR
6. Reread “Languages an Machines”
7. Find another “Hacker” culture book to read
8. Rediscover Javascript
9. Port my Image Viewer to Javascript
10. Learn more about HTML5 Canvas
11. Read “Design Patterns in Java” book (again?)
12. Finish writing Java/Lua compiler for WoW scripts
13. Read up on the Latest “Spring” version
14. Read up on Java 7 changes
15. See what RUBY is all about
